In the presence of Iraqi ambassador to Iran, an MOU signed between University of Tehran and Karbala University by the presidents of the two universities on OCT 26. During a visit, Dr. Rahbar, UT President, welcomed the Iraqi delegation and condemned the terrorist act done in Baghdad. He added that Karbala city had a very high place among the Iranians and the doors of UT were wide open to this university. Dr. Hasan Audah Alghanemi, Karbala University President, expressed hope that the ties between the two universities will expand.
